Tactical Decoy Operations Course

Three days. Exposed sleeve, hidden sleeve and bite suit mechanics under pressure. This is the course for teams who want their decoy fundamentals combat ready, not trial ready.

What the Course Covers

Exposed sleeve work. Clean catches, controlled outs and the foundation every working dog is built on.

Hidden sleeve work. Concealed equipment and realistic deployment scenarios, so the dog commits to the person and not the gear.

Bite suit mechanics. Proper presentation, impact absorption and full suit decoy mechanics, all of it under pressure.

What a Decoy Controls

A K9 decoy is the person who controls what the dog learns every single time it bites. Grip quality. Targeting. Pressure. Outing. Drive building. If your decoy does not know what they are doing, your dog does not know what it is doing. A warm body in a sleeve is not a decoy. It is a target, and training against a bad target builds a bad dog. Read the full breakdown in What Is a K9 Decoy and Why Your Department Needs One.

Who It Is For

Experienced K9 handlers, decoys and helpers, working dog trainers, professional K9 programs, and agencies and specialized units. This is not a beginner pet dog program. Every course assumes operational intent.
